Since
its creatin in 1992, FIBRE
ART SYNERGY
is puzzling and questioning. Up to this date, no explanation, no answer
has completely satisfied the curiosity of our interlocutors : why, in
France already full of numerous associations regarding textile, having
created one more ? FIBRE
ART SYNERGY,
aware that this framework is already existing, has taken for mission
to act at another level : valorization, recognition of Fibre Art and
Textile Art in the noble sense of the term. Nevertheless, the "French Fibre Art Movement" is there, it exists and exhibitions we have been showing for 7 years are here to prove it. In the 80's,
galleries have exhibited creations from contemporary ceramists and glass
designers, thus educating their public and collectors, giving then to
those artists a quotation that no one contests today. So, there is one
thing for us to hope : find in Paris or somewhere else a well-known
gallery which will dare and defend the work of those contemporary fibre
artists showing then, at the dawn of 21st century,
when the fear of the unknown is disappearing, when consciousness recognizes,
at last, the wealth of crossbreeding, times has come for us to have
the mind wide-opened. |
